NUCROOZE ("we", "us") is an independent, listener-supported internet radio project. This page explains what personal data we collect through nucrooze.com, why, and what rights you have.

What we collect

Mailing list. If you join our mailing list, we store your email address (and name, if you provide one) to send you playlist updates and project news. We use a confirmation email, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email we send.

Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This is not activated unless you click "Accept." If you click "Decline," no analytics cookies are set.

Support / donations. If you choose to support NUCROOZE financially, you are redirected to Stripe's own secure payment page. We never see, collect, or store your card details — that transaction happens entirely on Stripe's systems, under Stripe's own privacy policy.

Server logs. Like most websites, our server may automatically log basic technical information (IP address, browser type, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting purposes.

Legal basis for processing

• Mailing list: your consent (you actively sign up, and can withdraw consent anytime by unsubscribing).
• Analytics: your consent (cookie banner).
• Payments: necessary to fulfil a contract you initiate with Stripe; we are not a party to that payment.
• Server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functioning.

How long we keep data

• Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
• Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you,
• ask us to correct or delete it,
• withdraw consent at any time (e.g. unsubscribe, or clear cookie consent in your browser),
• object to processing, or request that we restrict it,
• lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Third parties

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site:

• our email delivery provider (to send mailing-list emails),
• Google Analytics (only if you consent),
• Stripe (only if you choose to make a payment — handled entirely on their platform).

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

We may update this page as the project evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
